Sue Smith

Since I can remember, I have always been interested in drawing people, animals and places. When I was a child I was supplied with crayons and paper by my mother, to keep me quiet in church and I think the seed was set. But family life and children took over and I did not resume my hobby until I retired and began cruising holidays, where I was introduced to water colour.

In 2007 I was at an exhibition, where I saw the work of a wonderful artist called Cath Inglis, who works in pastel and I was hooked. I work from good photographs, which, if convenient, I try to take myself. So if you are interested in having a portrait of your pet, relative or other subject, please contact me.
